A Comprehensive History

I was once a retarded kid with no life...
Now, I am a retarded kid with no life AND friends!This is my story...

It all began on 2013, where I decided that I should make a YouTube channel.
At first, the username was just my IRL name which I won't share here for obvious reasons. However I didn't start uploading videos until 2014...The videos I made in 2014 were incredibly barren, umm... "Plush videos" about a pig and a mooshroom named "Oreo and Shed". Then I made a few videos of some Pillow Pets and other Minecraft-related stuff before I eventually grew out of that shit and decided to take YouTube seriously.In 2015, I decided to rename my channel to "The Gameboy Crew". I also had "atreyu2007gaming" but then I decided to cram both usernames into one long mess. Sometime later, I got a Wii U and eventually Super Mario Maker. This, as well as learning what FNAF was made in (Clickteam Fusion), lead to me make a GameJolt account that still exists to this day. That was ultimately the beginning of my game development career. I wouldn't dabble in it more until 2018 though.2016 rolled around and I became a YTPer or "Pooper" or whatever it's called, and made the "Mr. Driller has a problem" series of videos. They probably weren't that well-recieved, but I ended up making 4 of those damned videos. I had a bunch of YTPs planned that year, but most of them never came to fruition and now reside on my old PC that I can't turn on anymore. I also trolled some people which became my first ever drama, but that is seriously not worth talking about here. Just know, I was an ass during this time.Then, I published my first real fangame onto GameJolt, Kirby's Dream Land 4. It was a poorly made game that used stretched Kirby Advance assets and was just total shit. I made a few more games afterward but no one really cares about them.In 2017, I made a game called "gameboycam.gb", based on the error screens of the Game Boy Camera peripheral. It too wasn't all that good, but somehow it caught the attention of several YouTubers back in the day, such as Luigikid. Obviously, they didn't like this game so I decided to get BLANGRY in the comment section of Luigikid's video. Over time, however, I have grown to realize how bad these games really are, but I'll elaborate in a bit.2018 was not a very busy year, only real notable thing is that I shortened my username to "TheGBCrew". I also made a DeviantArt account specifically for the purpose of making joke art.2019 was near the end of TheGBCrew's saga, and I wanted to prove my worth for real.
Instead of making bad games and taking them seriously, I decided to embrace the fact my games are trash and made a lot of unpublished joke games. The only one that ended up being published, was a Sonic parody called "Slonkey hte Heghogers". At least 1 YouTuber played the game which encouraged me to work on it more, but unfortunately, I lost that game's source code and then just kinda had a hiatus for the rest of the year, only being able to publish a Christmas version of Slonkey with what I had left until I lost even that.After making a joke DeviantArt account to try to troll more people and making a Discord account, I eventually had a bit of a resurgence, met new people, and ultimately learned how to be a good person. In late-2020, I changed my Discord account's username to TheGBCrew, but then I decided that I shouldn't use that username anymore due to some bad memories attached to it, so after making a dumb joke about what the "GB" in my name stood for, I renamed myself to "AtreyuGilbert".
I also had another username, twigs202/twigsAG, but I only really use it for in-game usernames or for sites I don't use much.And here we are today... I am trying to move on from this TheGBCrew shit and also trying to improve my works to be actually good and worthwhile.
Now you know my story.

TL;DR

I made a YouTube channel for stupid videos, did some pointless trolling, made some bad games, I was a hypocrite, currently working to improve myself and my works.
